American Council on Exercise "Personal Trainer of the Year" winner, Stephen Holt, volunteers to answer fitness questions for free at a special web site, AskThePersonalTrainer.com, set up to honor "Get Active America!" Week.
Forty percent of Americans are sedentary and more than 129 million are overweight. Fortunately, certain fitness industry leaders are doing all they can to reverse this deadly trend.
To provide Americans with easy-to-follow recommendations for increasing their levels of activity, the International Health and Racquet Sports Association (IHRSA) created their "Get Active America!" program to make it easy for Americans develop healthier lifestyles.

Holt certainly has the credentials necessary for this role. He's was named "Expert of the Year by AllExpert.com, the Internet's oldest and largest Q & A site and is a former member of the Maryland State Advisory Board on Fitness.
"There's a lot of misinformation out there that's holding people back. I'm out to set the record straight by giving everyone scientific truths," says Holt, who holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Duke.
